– How to arrive from the airport?
Valencia International Airport is 8 km away from the city. There are several options for getting in to the city:
– By metro: (recommended)
There are two underground lines which link the airport and the city centre: line 5 and line 3 (Approx. 25 min. Single fare: 3,90.-€). The station is at the ground floor of the airport arrivals and departures building. You can download a map of the metro.
Both line 5 (green) and 3 (red) will take you to the stop “Xàtiva”, from where one can walk to the venues of the conference. The routes are shown in the following maps:
Going to La Nau (10 min. walk)
– By taxi:
A taxi from the airport costs around 15-20 €. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the city centre.
– By bus:
Aero-bus: (Direct service Airport-Valencia-Airport).
Timetable: Every 20 minutes, from 6:00h to 22:00h.
Price: 2,50.-€.
Your stop is “Ángel Guimera”. You can easily walk from here to the Institute or the Colegio Mayor Rector Peset.

– How to arrive from the train station?
Please note that most of the long-distance trains arrive to the new station called AVE-Joaquín Sorolla. The best options to arrive to the venues from Joaquín Sorolla station are:
-By Bus:
Going to IHMC: Line 27 (from the new station to the Central Market) + 10min. walk
Going to CMRP: Line 27 (from the new station to the Central Market) + 5min. walk
Going to La Nau: Line 9
-By Shuttle Bus and walking:
Take the free shuttle bus between Joaquín Sorolla Station and Norte Station and then walk (10-20 minutes)

LUNCH & DINNER:
There are numerous quality food restaurants and bars in the city centre. Some recommended eating places close to the IHMC and to CMRP are:
– Matilda (C/ Roteros, 21): Mediterranean cuisine.
– Caballeros 21 (C/ Caballeros, 21): Tapas, appetizers, etc.
– Restaurante Canela (C/ Quart, 49): Paella, rice, etc.
– La Galeria (C/ Baja, 38): Sandwiches, salads, tapas, appetizers, etc.
– Cuina al quadrat (C/Roteros, 12): Mediterranean cuisine, gastro-bar.
– Blanquita Bar (Plaza Dr. Collado, 8): Tapas, appetizers, etc.
– Restaurante Sésame (C/ En Bou, 10): Mediterranean cuisine.
